Within this position I had the responsibility of organizing the articles turned in to us by freelance and voluntary contributors, editing and choosing which articles fit with which advertisements. Communication with the chief editor was a daily task, and from this position I had learned much about marketing firsthand while also balancing several tasks with deadlines. I have since been interested in furthering my marketing skills in the workplace.

This letter is being written in hopes that you will consider me for the travel writing blog position advertised with Travel Europe Blog. Now, I could go on about my time in high school as the chief editor of the student newspaper, or about the numerous articles written by me which the City Magazine Publication has deemed worthy enough for the front page of their “In Other News” section, but I wouldn’t want to bore you with that.

No, I would rather focus on the fact that I am trilingual (that is not a yoga position, mind you), and that I have been writing my own entertainment blog for three years which reaches 5,000 unique viewers a month.
